Family Weekend

This has been my first real weekend off since i moved back to Virginia and it was packed with family events. Two birthdays to attend and i didn't want my fashion to stop so i didn't.....got a few new pieces in my wardrobe so i showed it, nothing to extra just me!!

A day I always look forward to now.....SUNDAYS......i have recently started going back to church and getting my life right with God. Its happening slowly but surely getting back on the right PATH!! I woke up in a mood of anointing...for those that aren't Christians that term might be foreign to you, but look it up....

The church home i found in New York City is called HILLSONGNYC trust me its worth it to go to a service. Everyone is inviting, no judgement, you can even go in you tshirt and sneakers and thats the norm. Look them up online and follow on twitter and instagram @hillsongnyc.

The message at service was given by a guest pastor from Los Angeles (Erwin Mcmanus) and i loved his message and the way he explained the word to us, even referencing what was going on in Ferguson with Mike Brown. His message: God Created US for Community.....you are nothing without a team or tribe (Church family, fellow Christians)

New Years 2014!

Its a New Year! 

 

Im not going to say New Year, New Me like most people do, the only thing I can say is, New Year better outlook.

The year 2013 brought around alot of negativity, challanges, obstacles and a few miracles for me and my family. I have decided that alot of things in my life are going to be improved upon including my attitude. I have seen on someones IG page about making a list of things i want to happen this NEW YEAR and at the end of the year opening it to see if i accomplished these things. Im going to share a few of the things on my list. I encourage you all to make a list of your own and try everything in your power to be proud of yourself at the end of the year.

List of things to do before 2015:

• Work on my outlook on life, improving my attitude in the process.

• Strengthen my relationship with GOD
• Graduating College
• Signing papers to join the military
•  Relocate from NYC
  
  When it comes to my life its simple yet complicated, I have many layers that i will never let any one person peel back but sticking to this Blog this year is a way of me becoming more open with myself and others. So you can comment or just read or look at what i post.

Beach Babe

When i moved back to New York for school at the beginning of September, i decided to have a little photo shoot, i used it as a confidence booster for me and i had been working out over the summer and got in better shape so I wanted to show off a little bit. 

I shot at Brighton Beach in Brooklyn at about 9 in the morning, it was nice out but still cold and the water was freezing. LOL. I wore an H&M Swimsuit that Beyonce' advertised for them this summer and i love the print. These are some of the shots. (Shot by Anthony McNally, @aprm718 on Instagram) He takes amazing shots!!
